Deck Editor

The Deck editor allows you to edit the contents of a deck. A deck is made up of a list of slots. Each slot can be either a card slot or a text slot. A card slot represents one or more of a particular card in your deck. A text slot represents any text comment you want to place in your deck.

The following is a brief description of the capabilities of the Deck editor:

Unlimited undo and redo
The Undo Redo commands on the Edit menu revert or reapply changes one action at a time.
Drag and drop
You can use drag and drop with your mouse to rearrange card and text slots in your deck. You can also drag and drop cards into your deck from the Card Library view and the Card Information view.
Palette
The tool palette lets you select a tool to operate with the mouse. You can choose from two selection modes or insert a text slot, a card slot and a slot to hold ten basic land cards. Once you have selected a tool clicking in the deck inserts a new slot or selects existing slots. After inserting a text slot the slot is put into edit mode to allow you to type the text that should appear in the deck. After inserting a card slot the slot is put into edit mode to allow you to type the card name.
Copy and paste
The clipboard can be used to cut, copy and paste slots to new locations and new decks. Text can also be pasted into decks. If the text is in the form "<number><white_space><name>" the Deck editor will attempt to match the name with a card in the library and create a card slot. Other text lines will become text slots.
Context menu commands
Right mouse clicking on selected slots in a deck will display a context menu with commands specific to the current selection.
